City of Centennial:
The City of Centennial presented the Edelweiss Preservation Foundation
with their 2015 German Day in Colorado Proclamation
at the Monday, August 17 Centennial City Council meeting
City of Centennial Mayor Cathy Noon presented Edelweiss Preservation Foundation
Board Members Peter and Mariza Kron
with a proclamation designating October 6, 2015 as
German-American Day in Centennial in honor of
the nonprofit's German Day in Colorado 2015 event
at the Monday, August 17 Centennial City Council meeting.
October 6 is the anniversary of German Unification
and the destruction of the wall.
This date is also the anniversary of President Ronald Reagan's
1987 German-American Day proclamation and
this year's 2015 proclamation by President Barack Obama.

of the German heritage, traditions, culture and language
